Who we are
Small farmers who came together under one brand
The Cooperativa Insular Ganadera de Menorca was founded in 1966, when a group of small farmers on the island decided to join forces. Together they could collect, process and sell their milk and cheese under their own brand.
Sixty years later we are more than 60 farms. Our cheese has held the Mahón-Menorca Protected Designation of Origin since 1985 and has won more than 40 awards.
